Lips Red as Blood, Hair Dark as Night

Finally a Kristen Stewart movie I don’t have to be ashamed of looking forward to. Death to Twilight!

White Wars

So it’s going to be Snow White vs Snow White next year and I for one hope the battle comes out to be a tie because both films look fantastic.  In fact if it wasn’t for the fact that I knew they were based on the same story I would have never thought to compare the two Snow White films as the appear to be drastically different.

Mirror Mirror looks like a fun comedic take on the Snow White tale with a goofball Julia Roberts as the evil queen, Lily Collins as the pretty princess that might shockingly be kind of bad ass, and Armie Hammer as the hot dork of a prince.

Looks like a pretty fun ride, right?

Snow White and the Huntsman on the other hand is all dark. Charlize Theron is deliciously evil and Kristen Stewart is the type of character I always felt she should play. Gone is weak little Bella Swan and in comes Snow White a girl that doesn’t wait to be saved but does the saving herself and for that I say thank god. Kristen never struck me as the helpless weak girl she played in the Twilight films, so this is a fantastic change.

Oh and Snow White may be getting her time in the spotlight now, but does anyone remember this…

When this came out it didn’t get the credit it deserved because it was pretty damn good.
