1. Kimbra
I literally just discovered this girl, but I am already a fan. Not only are her music, clothing, and hair fantastic she also looks exactly like the love child of Andy and Duckie from Pretty in Pink… So pretty much how can you not like her?

3. Big Bang Theory
Am I late to the party? You bet I am, but I am so glad I finally made it because I love love love the Big Bang Theory. I also particularly love Penny’s laid back girly style.
Plus let’s be honest those Big Bang boys are kinda hot, because nerds will always be hot and awesome.
4. Mini Book Charms
I have to make these! I’m putting two vids because one is really good at showing you how to make them, but the other has charms the other doesn’t.
I also want to do this for Hunger Games.
5. Bunny Tracks
This is the best ice cream ever and it’s got the cutest name. Bonus there are actual chocolate bunnies inside it.

I know Harry Potter has produced it’s share of hotties, but no one surprised me more than Mr. Neville Longbottom. He has become quite the cutie hasn’t he?
I really am considering re-reading all of the Harry Potter books and while thinking about doing that I remembered The Tales of the Beadle Bard and the really amazing stories. And I thought that maybe it was about time to do another post dedicated to inspiration and life lessons. So I present to you two of my favorite tales read quite beautifully (aka not by me…I would have read them but I kinda can’t find my copy of the book), one of the tales you will most surely know and the other maybe not.

Now take from these what you will, but I find the stories and pretty much all of the Harry Potter books to be amazing lessons in life. So much so that if I ever got the balls and actually got a tattoo it would most definitely be of the Hallows…

Oh and I was going to make today’s post this big Golden Globes fashion post, but I wasn’t quite sure how to make a proper slide show and I really didn’t want it to turn into a whole best and worst dressed thing. Also to tell the complete truth I didn’t even watch the Golden Globes, mainly because I hate award shows. They inherently suck because they are long and boring most of the time. Plus like hell would I put up with Ricky Gervais. Am I alone in thinking that since he lost like a pound he became a bit of an asshole? I used to think he was funny, but now I just think he’s a dick.
Anywho even though I don’t like watching the shows I do like checking in for the clips and the clothes so I will do a mini version of what i intended.

Natalie won! And not only to she win, she also looked adorable getting her award and had a really cute funny speech. You can hear the speech here.
Highlights: When she reminded us that in Black Swan her fiance said he wouldn’t sleep with her and then laughed as she said “He’s such a good actor, he totally would sleep with me!” Also when she called Mila “sweet lips” Kunis.
Oh and Nat looked cute after the Globes as well…

Olivia had the best dress EVER!
I completely don’t care who agrees with me on this, cause I love this dress. Olivia always looks like a princess and I love it.
Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp proved they were cooler that you by not giving a shit what you thought about their clothes…
I love individuals and I firmly believe that calling them anything but awesome means you just don’t get it. Say you hate what they wore and I am sure they will say in return “who gives a shit!” and I say to that RIGHT ON!

I’m not even a fan or anything I just like to hear about people kicking cancer’s ass. Catherine also looked fantastic. Also the joke Michael made about there being an easier way to get a standing ovation was awesome.
Also kudos to this girl for looking great while also looking her age, which as we have seen is easier said than done.
And last but not least my favorite person ever!
I love Rob because he is awesome and even more so because he took a very classy polite jab at that bastard Ricky Gervais. Someone really needs to tell that jackass there is a difference between poking fun at people and just being an ass. Oh an don’t tell me celebs have it coming! If you believe that I would like for you to have a big event and have some loser get up onstage in front of millions of people and make fun of you, then have cameras tape your reaction. Then tell me how fun that is…just sayin!
Oh and a totally different event but I love this dress so…
Dammit I tricked myself into doing a damn Golden Globes post anyway! Figures I would start and not be able to stop.
Anyway hope you enjoyed it. Remember learn from the lessons, which in a way the Golden Globes stuff can give some great lessons not just in fashion but also in life. We have someone beating the odds, someone handling a bully with grace, a girl dressing her age, and even two people daring to be individuals. Ha! So I guess it all does tie together.

Funny story: I haven’t started re-reading yet, but when I opened the book to take this picture I realized that apparently this is not my first time attempting to re-read the books. As evidenced by the fact that I still have a place holder marking page 18…didn’t get very far did I?
I honestly am coming up with a bit of a blank about what to write about today. The one thing I can think to comment on is the fact that blogging has become a part of my nightly routine. I get up and do it just like I would get up and wash the dishes. Never did I think that at this point it would become second nature, but two weeks in and I do it without thinking. Pretty amazing how things become habits isn’t it?

That is awesome and I am so glad I am keeping up with this. It may not be that impressive now, but I generally stop or get tired of doing things pretty quickly so every week past is a reason to celebrate!

Hanging out in my favorite article of clothing. It is a Hogwarts shirt that I got like 10 years ago. Whenever I wear it people always comment on it and ask where I got it to which I always reply “At the WB store 10 years ago, but they aren’t around anymore.” Why do I enjoy saying that? Because that makes this shirt damn near impossible to find and the fact that it is so rare makes it even more awesome. I have worn it to a million HP movies openings, and it is the one thing I have that manages to take a beating and stay super clean and in good condition. I like to think it’s a magical shirt. I love it so much that if anyone even attempted to take it I might have to kill them…literally kill. I do kinda wish they still sold it somewhere because there are four more in the set and I wish I had them.
Dammit why didn’t I buy them when I had the chance!
